TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITUS AND FALL PREVENTION

Are you afraid of falling? Uncertain about your balance? Tai Chi may be for you!!
This 8-week program meets twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursday for one hour. Tai Chi is a gentle form of physical activity for elders who have uncertain balance and a fear of falling. Classes are adaptable and the gentleness of the movements helps promote strength and confidence. Participants learn at their own pace, with the help of an instructor, and the movements are ‘elder-friendly.’ Great for those who have arthritis or other chronic conditions. The exercises are adaptable and modifiable (in seated position) to accommodate individuals with varied physical conditions.
